Over the past few days Madelyn has decided to "kick back and relax" while her diaper is being changed in the morning (by Chris for those keeping score). The first time I saw Madelyn put her hands behind her head during the diaper change I thought she was just doing a little stretching......well we are now on 4 days straight of this unique little "stretch". We'll "chat" about what was on SportsCenter before we went to sleep, some of the stories on ABC news at 4am, and other random topics. We've got a pretty good system down. I change her diaper, chat with her a while, and put on her outfit. I tell Madelyn that she is showing too much leg in the onesie, but she tells me that is how all the girls are wearing them nowadays. Kids these days!
Finally, Bethany and I ordered Pei Wei a week or so ago. When I pulled out my fortune cookie, Bethany had a nice laugh. See fortune cookie below....
....maybe someday Bethany will laugh at my jokes. I'm glad Madelyn likes 'em!
