As many of you know, I graduated from Texas A&M and I am a HUGE Fightin' Texas Aggie fan (of course). I've attended countless games at Kyle Field (and other venues) and somehow gathered quite a collection of 12th Man towels (thirteen in my possession to be exact...although I know I probably have given a few away throughout the years). While cleaning out the hall closet, my lovely wife noticed the beautiful white towels (pictured above on "Mr. 12th Man") on almost every shelf. I knew I had a lot of towels (which is why I didn't purchase any this year).....but I was shocked when I had a baker's dozen in my possession! I'll continue to use each one of them....and none were "retired" in the trash can. For more information on the 12th Man, click here.
BTW, my first Aggie football game was September 4, 1993 when the Texas Aggies beat the Bayou Bengals of LSU, 24-0. For record keeping purposes....the towel from that game is on my right shoulder.
One last note......the 12th Man towel will NOT be used to clean up any spit-up from Madeleine Paige's mouth! That is what one of these is for.
